Let's Learn HTML like it's 1994

[ BACK .. ]

Imagine a time long ago in the age of internet 1.0 Where websites like GeoCities and Angel reigned supreme. It's time to relive this golden age of internet self-expression! By Attending these events you will learn how to create your own corner of the internet (1994 style!)

Use your personal page to tell the world all about yourself, your hobbies & interests, share your creative work or just ramble on about anything your heart desires in true 1994 fashion.

All experience levels are welcome! These events will be taught online and eventually we will find a home in a seedy bar and meet at least once a month. My dream come true ❤️.

Example CSS:

External stylesheets (even better then internal stylesheets!)

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="style.css" media="screen"/>

css grid is awesome! Great for galleries.

#gallery-container {
	/* responsive by nature */
	display: grid;
	grid-template-columns: repeat(auto-fit, minmax(250px, 1fr));
	/* auto-fit = stretch items in grid */
	/* 1fr = max width of grid */
	grid-gap: 20px;

the blink html tag was deprecated but never fear it can be reproduced with css!

@keyframes blink {
    0% { color: pink; }
    100% { color: black; }

@-webkit-keyframes blink {
    0% { color: pink; }
    100% { color: black; }

.blink {
    -webkit-animation: blink 0.5s linear infinite;
    -moz-animation: blink 0.5s linear infinite;
    animation: blink 0.5s linear infinite;
    text-align: center;
